My wife and I had the pleasure of having Katie represent us on the sale of our home. We know many brokers but decided to go with Katie because of her experience, professionalism and vast network.  First, she sat down with us and clearly walked us through the process of selling a home and set the proper expectations. She then took on the management and oversight of all the improvement work. Katie was available around the clock to meet workers so my wife and I did not have to adjust our schedules. Her communication was excellent; very concise and there were never any surprises. When we began showing our home to prospective buyers, Katie always gave us timely and thorough feedback. She managed our expectations very well which helped ease the stress of selling a home. We received multiple offers on our home and Katie helped us navigate what could have been a tricky situation. As expected when working with Katie, everything was done orderly and ethically so all parties felt comfortable and were treated fairly. It is calming to have a person like Katie representing you even during the most stressful times. Katie is a true professional. I have known Katie Jarman for many years and liked the way she was eager to help sell my house.  I knew that it wouldn’t be easy because I had too much stuff.  I wasn’t keen on getting rid of it just to stage the house.  Katie worked with me over the months to get as many personal items into storage.  She also arranged to have a variety of vendors come in to paint, clean carpets, garden, etc.  She really went above and beyond what I might have expected any realtor to do.  Katie even cleaned and polished the floors herself!  In the end, the house sold for well above what I might have expected.  I was very pleased with the results and can credit Katie with getting me a price well above what I would have gotten had she not be involved.  I would be happy to talk to anyone who might be considering using Katie to sell their house.  I can recommend her highly.

At the beginning of the process Katie did a tremendous job putting together a detailed dossier on the current state of the market, comparables, etc. and her proposed strategy around timing, the listing process, target price and other details.  Having never sold in the California market, this was extremely helpful to us in understanding the process, anticipating how buyers might react and behave, and ultimately setting our expectations.

Katie worked quickly and diligently to put a comprehensive disclosure package together, anticipating buyer questions and concerns, so that we felt we were fully prepared for our listing date.

Katie had access to a broad array of experts to help get our home inspected, repaired and ready to sell, and was empathetic to our needs. Further, she personally oversaw, and always had people available to assist with, numerous open house and private viewings so that potential buyers always had access to view the property and could have their questions answered.

At all times Katie ensured all timelines were met, and tirelessly stayed on top of the process. We very much appreciated Katie’s dedication to our sale and that she never let her other engagements interfere with her commitment to us – she was always there whenever we needed her, and we always felt like we were her top priority.  She worked well with the buyer’s agent so that we could close on time with no issues.

I was a challenging client re-entering the housing market in Marin County after a 2 year hiatus. Essentially Katie was dealing with, "I don't know what I want but I'll know it when I see it." Katie took the time to understand what I liked or thought I liked and did not like for my next home.
